Join us for a day of creative fun, working with clay and painting pottery. Each session will have different ceramics projects, some outdoor game time and other art projects to fill the day. If you come to more than one session, you will create different things each day. This is a unique experience to work with both wet clay and painting ceramics--and what can't be done at camp, will be completed by them (kiln firing, glazing, piecing mobiles etc) so campers will have quality finished artwork you can enjoy for years to come.

Each Camp Day includes:

“U-Name-It” Project #1.  Campers work with the wet clay, cut out and clean up letters/shapes, embellish them if desired, then paint them.  Design your name or make something for the holidays! We will dry, fire, and string them with the wires.

Paint Your Own Pottery Project #2: Campers will have a variety of items to choose from and our instructor will demonstrate painting techniques. Final piece will be glazed and fired.

Third Art Project: We are still working on details but we will have a 3rd art project available for each camp day, more details soon!

In addition to our art-filled day, we will break in the middle of the day for an outdoor activity, and indoor games at lunchtime, plus Bingo if we complete projects on time.

Bring: your lunch, and wear clothes that can get messy, sneakers and jacket for outdoor game time, and of course your creativity!

All projects will be professionally fired and finished, which takes some time, so parents will need to pickup final pieces at our offices in Sterling a week or so after camp.
